Context & Challenges
Melanie and Liam's wedding site came first: a focused RSVP experience for one ceremony, with invitees, guests, and dietary needs to keep organised.
Building that site made the broader product opportunity obvious. Couples kept hitting the same planning friction.
The Approach
I shipped a Next.js and Tailwind wedding site where organisers could manage invitees and guests could RSVP cleanly.
Functionally it sits in the same family as Our Special Day, but this one stayed ceremony-specific rather than becoming the productised platform.
Outcomes
The site did its job for the wedding window, and more importantly it became the spark for Our Special Day, the flagship product now being refined and shared more deliberately.
