Mollie x Sage Integration
Mollie bank-feed integration into Sage. Same shared platform architecture as QuickBooks, with a distinct Sage integration surface.
Context & Challenges
At Maze Digital I worked on Mollie bank-feed products that had to land cleanly in accounting platforms with very different data models and auth behaviour.
Sage was one of those targets. The product shared architecture with the QuickBooks sibling, but the integration contract itself was entirely different.
The Approach
I built the backend, frontend, and Sage-facing integration myself within the shared Mollie bank-feed codebase.
That meant OAuth, webhook-driven updates, and mapping Mollie's transaction reality into Sage Online Accounting concepts without corrupting reconciliation workflows.
Outcomes
Teams could sync Mollie activity into Sage for downstream reconciliation, with the Sage-specific integration living alongside the shared product shell.
